A breakdown of the costs involved
An example would be:
A donation of £40.00,
made by a donor using a Debit Card,
and the donor is a UK tax payer.
This means your £40.00 donated turns into £47.13 received by the charity. Love2Donate does not levy any charge on the charities.
Please note the Government tax rates, Giftaid allowance and top up are all subject to change from time to time.
TRANSPARENCY
At Love2Donate we are committed to the highest quality service with the utmost honesty and transparency.
In order to run our business efficiently and effectively, we need to make a small profit. For every transaction we handle, we take a 5% contribution (this is on a par with other charity related businesses).
This 5% contribution goes towards the staffing, I.T. costs and general administration costs of Love2Donate. 10% of any profits made by Love2Donate will be given to its chosen charity which is currently, The Childhood Eye Cancer Trust.
Please note: All donation funds are very carefully audited and HMRC have very exacting standards of reporting transactions. They also reserve the right to audit Love2Donate at any time.
Please also note: We are required to place a limit of validity on our vouchers of six months. If a voucher has not been redeemed within six months from the date of the original donation, then Love2Donate will donate that money to its nominated charity.
