Eid: The First Sighting Of The Moon

Eid Ul Fitr is always celebrated on the first sighting of the moon from the first day of the Islamic month of Shawwal which marks the ending of the Ramadan Fast. This is one of the two most important religious days in the Islamic year.

In many Muslim countries there is a tradition of feasting followed by the giving of gifts in decorated gift bags to children. Many Muslims also donate food and goods by anonymously leaving parcels on the doorsteps of people less fortunate than themselves.

The act of total charity could be well met by giving Love2Donate vouchers and to the end charity it could still be anonymous.
